Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Position: Bookmobile Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities: Read to elementary school children multiple times a day;Check in/out materials; Assist children and teachers in finding materials;Assist with rotation of bookmobile inventory; Help transfer items to and from bookmobile;Keep work area on bookmobile and staging area neat and clean; Help prepare collections for teachers and nursing homes;Cleaning of the bookmobile inside and out; Drives bookmobile when Bookmobile Lead is absent (would be substitute driver).Other duties as required from Bookmobile Lead. Some evening or weekend work required.
Requirements/Qualifications: Obtain chauffeur’s license within 6 months of hire. Basic computer skills.Attention to detail. Must be able to work with children.Must be able to lift 20lbs. Must be able to walk up and down stairs multiple times a day. Must pass background check.
Hours are non-negotiable.
Monday 7:30 - 3:30
Tuesday 7:30 - 3:30
Wednesday 7:30 - 3:30
Thursday 7:30 - 3:30
Friday 7:30 - 3:00
Full time position. Full benefits including sick days, personal days, vacation time, insurance (vision included), and retirement. Pay: $13.00/hour. Pay will increase once chauffeur’s license is obtained and Bookmobile Assistant is actively driving the bookmobile as a substitute driver when needed.
