Assistant Controller – Nationwide company

This position requires a candidate with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The successful candidate will have experience with Power BI and a proven track record in implementing and optimizing financial systems and processes.

Overview of the Assistant Controller role:

• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to maintain the integrity of financial data
• The Assistant Controller will prepare and review financial statements for accuracy in compliance with accounting standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and streamline financial workflows
• Oversee and analyze cost allocation process
• The Assistant Controller will leverage technology and collaborate with IT to implement and integrate financial systems and software

Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in GL management, financial reporting and cost allocations
• Power BI experience ( )
