Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Qualifications
· Excellent customer focus with 1-3 years preferred customer service experience
· Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms while interacting with clients and advisors.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· Comfortable working in a small office environment
· Must pass a background check and willing to have your fingerprints completed
· Willing and able to become licensed in the future
Responsibilities
· Greeting and assisting clients (phone and in-person) with a prompt friendly and professional manner.
· Core responsibilities are to provide clerical and administrative support to advisors which include but are not limited to:
o Assisting clients and prospective clients by handling account and billing inquiries, service requests and scheduling meetings
o Client outreach
o Electronic filing
o Record/profile maintenance
o Completing and processing account service paperwork for multiple platforms
o Running and sorting reports
· Maintain a well-groomed appearance and clean workspace as well as general office appearance management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
