Job Title: Financial Aid Graduate Assistant

Job Summary: The Financial Aid Graduate Assistant will support the financial aid office in assisting students seeking financial aid for their education. This position offers an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in financial aid administration while contributing to the efficient delivery of financial assistance services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide frontline support to students and families by answering questions about financial aid programs, application procedures, and eligibility requirements.

Assist in maintaining student financial aid records and databases, including scanning and filing documents.

Help prepare and distribute financial aid award letters Assist in researching and compiling information on scholarships, grants, and other financial aid opportunities for students.

Provide general administrative support to the financial aid office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting with mailings.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as a Wheeling University graduate student.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Commitment to providing excellent service to students and families.
