Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
MINIMUM EDUCATIONDoctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or master’s degree in public health (MPH/MSPH) plus a bachelor’s degree in a biological science
QUALIFICATIONS- Completion of the basic Public Health Officer (PHO) course and the Contingency Preventive Medicine (CPM) course
- Minimum of 24 months on active duty filling a Public Health Officer position
- Completion of 5.5 week Officer Training School
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 42
