Financial Assistant (Public) provides assistance to the Public Financial Associates. Assists in the financing of taxable and tax-exempt bonds. Being a Financial Assistant (Public) prepares business reports, proposals, and presentations. Coordinates meetings and communications between all parties involved with transactions. Additionally, Financial Assistant (Public) verifies compliance with NASD and other regulations and completes all required filings for a deal. Familiar with underwriting policies, practices, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Assistant (Public) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. What You'll Do Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associat Issue On Demand Certificates of Insurance in all offices Review insured's contracts for insurance requirements needed for Certificates of Insurance.
Assist each department with daily tasks including checking policies / delivery, submitting change requests, proposal packet and notebook assembly etc.
Maintain electronic files in an orderly, up-to-date manner Service accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures.
Provide Full back-up coverage to the Office Administrator / Reception on multiple administrative duties including but not limited to Dailey phone coverage Scanning and attaching documentation in agency management system Distribution of e-docs Preparing expense submission and coding for payables Preparing deposits Assembling and photocopying department packets with accurate materials Faxing Word Processing- Excel, Word & Adobe Perform special projects at Director's request.
Other duties may be assigned. You Should Have : 1 years of office or industry related experience preferred. Strong reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data and can clearly communicate ideas in a concise manner Good listening skills and attention to detail are important.
Excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to present and articulate in a clear and concise manner The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a high volume, fast paced environment.
