About this role:

This position will report to an MD in our Boston area office with a focus on enhancing valuation models to support a wide range of clients and advanced valuation needs across our Portfolio Valuation team.

What you will do:

• Design and build financial models using structured references and VBA code
• Support back testing financial models to ensure accuracy
• Provide support and training.
• Create and maintain documentation for models
• Other duties as assigned

What you will need:

• Proficiency in Excel and VBA programming with a strong understanding of structured references
• Working knowledge in one or more programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) R, and SQL.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science (Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, etc.) and/or Finance (Business Administration, etc.)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work flexible hours around critical client and project due dates
• Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
