Financial Associate (Public) gathers and interprets financial data and coordinates the process for the origination of debt securities used to finance public projects for housing, utilities or other municipal initiatives. Develops estimates of services and completes a comprehensive analysis of project, including bond ratings and insurance. Being a Financial Associate (Public) collaborates with public officials in analyzing the necessary bond and cash flow reports that are associated with the projects. Starts the offering process and may make recommendations to interested investors. Additionally, Financial Associate (Public) coordinates preparation of all offering documents. Manages the bond issuance process and assists with the offering. Depending on the size and level of project, responsibility may vary. May manage the entire project or only a portion of the deal. Requires a bachelor's degree of Finance. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Financial Associate (Public) works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.     • Assist clients in implementing financial recommendations such as life insurance, mutual funds, savings plans, and other financial products
    • Develop and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives
    Qualifications:
    • Proven success as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is essential
    • Experience with computer programs, such as MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is essential
    • Knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is desired
    • Current professional license CPA, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner license from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards) and FINRA Series 7 and 66, is required
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field is required
