We are looking for a new Warehouse Associate to join our Parr Public Safety team! Our Warehouse Associates are primarily responsible for monitoring inventory levels and tracking merchandise movement into and out of our facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain control of merchandise and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by checking material receipts and processing material shipments
• Select and purchase merchandise for resale based on inventory levels, material lead times, and customer demand
• Enter quote tracking information into the computerized sales activity tracking system accurately and in a timely manner
• Assemble and test products such as lightbars, beacons, or emergency lights according to verbal or printed instructions
• Track and monitor parts sent to vendors for repair
• Respond to customer requests and questions regarding products and accounts

• Organizational skills to maintain company inventory standards and goals as established by top management
• Ability to compute business math formulas and enter data into spreadsheets, journals, and ledgers on a computer
• Interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with team members and customers
• Ability to conduct business in a professional manner favorable to the company, our vendors and suppliers, and our customers

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years previous experience or equivalent technical knowledge in a related field
• Forklift license/certification
• Background check
• Reliable transportation to and from work, even in adverse weather conditions
• Longer hours may be required during busy season

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a suite of temperature-controlled, non-smoking offices. Warehouse Associates are expected to work 40 hours per week, excluding a mandatory, pre-established, one-hour midday lunch period. Available work hours extend from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
