Greater Regional is looking for a Financial Counselor to work full time with patient accounts. Are you familiar with patient services, financial assistance and insurance information regarding medical care? Then this may be the job for you! The financial counselor will also serve as patient advocate and assist the patient with financial & insurance information to ensure the patient is able to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare. Serving as cashier while assisting patients in the settlement of their accounts by explaining charges and related questions is also included. Responsible for processing checks, credit cards, and cash drawers daily. The financial counselor performs an important role in educating the patient while also protecting the hospital's cash flow. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization are key to the success of this role. This position is Monday through Friday!
