Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing financial counseling to patients throughout their treatment cycle. This includes educating patients about their insurance benefits, making affordable financing options available, and making the patient’s financial experience with BJHCHS a positive one. This position will ensure that all patient insurance and financial benefits and transactions are appropriately updated, understood and interpreted. This position will perform all HIS functions on an as needed basis. This position will assist in training HIS employees. This position will assist in developing weekly HIS schedule and HIS personnel rotation. This position will work with the billing department on current insurance and coding updates. This position will coordinate with nurses and providers for effective workflow.
