Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team. Being a Financial Planning and Analysis Director reviews analysis results, develops insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and leads strategic business decisions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Financial Planning and Analysis Director typically reports to top management or CFO. The Financial Planning and Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. We are seeking a Director of Financial planning and analysis to lead our Corporate FP&A functions in an environment of change and growth.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Lead Corporate FP&A, acting as a financial business partner for all corporate functions, responsible for all strategic and financial planning, business modeling, long-range forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting for the headquarters’ functions
    • Develop a framework and drive the vision for the FP&A team, including business strategy
    • Create and track KPIs regarding business performance, growth initiatives, economics, and acquisition cost
    • Establish financial metrics to drive towards “best in class”
    • Manager monthly/quarterly/annual FP&A processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, and board/management reporting for corporate support teams
    • Partner closely with accounting to support month-end, flux review, and financial reporting
    • Partner with the senior leadership team and other company leaders to analyze and assess M&A and the implementation of new business processes and projects.
    • Assist with M&A diligence activities and valuation assessments.
    • Analyzes/understands key business/financial information and communicates key results to applicable management.
    • Design and lead corporate management cost allocation processes across the enterprise.
    • Support the functional team’s initiatives to drive change and maintain alignment with the finance team, tools, and processes.
    • Responsible for our management reporting and planning technology platform (Hyperion Planning / Essbase).
    • Drive innovation in financial processes and tools

    Qualifications & Skills:  To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to utilize the following skills:

    • Ability to develop relationships with key functional leaders.
    • Excellent financial modeling skills
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Must be a self‐motivated and highly analytical person who promotes improvement
    • Own the headquarters budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes
    • Prepare material for board of directors and investor relation activities
    • Assess risk in investments and ensure accounting activities comply with regulations
    • Working knowledge of corporate accounting process, including consolidations
    • Prepare, analyze, and summarize monthly financials and key performance indicators reports for leadership
    • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies in finance/accounting processes
    • Review and make recommendations on capital budgeting, investments, forecasting scenarios, etc

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting; MBA/Master’s degree preferred
    • 7-10 years of financial and leadership experience in a complex finance environment of a large corporation in finance leadership
    • Strong understanding of SEC regulations, filings, GAAP, and business acumen
    • Ability to interface and build relationships at all levels, especially C-level executives
    • Must be a strong, hands-on leader with a desire to build, cultivate, and mentor teams
    • Must be comfortable in a complex, high-growth environment
