We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Finance to join our team. As the Executive Director of Financial Services you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong operational and strategic skills.
JOB PURPOSE/REASON:
Responsible for the development, management and oversight of the District's funding streams to include General Operating, Special Revenue, Education Improvement Act, Food Service, Pupil Activity, Debt Service and Capital Projects and to align these funding streams with the District's strategic goals and initiatives. Accountable to CFO for oversight of departmental operations in Accounting, Budget, and Payroll departments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
8 years or more in Accounting or related field
5 years or more Management Experience/Training
OTHER SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite; 12 key touch proficiency; excellent customer relations skills; keen attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills; strong analytical skills; effective written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently.
Must have a valid SC Driver’s License and dependable transportation for work conducted at school and Department sites.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
