Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team. Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. Being a Financial Planning and Analysis Director reviews analysis results, develops insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and leads strategic business decisions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Financial Planning and Analysis Director typically reports to top management or CFO. The Financial Planning and Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis to work remotely in one of the following states: Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina. Other states may be considered based on the hiring manager's discretion, but these four are highly preferred.

    Role Overview:

    The Manager - FP&A supports business operations and contributes to projects within the Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) department. The position has exposure to functional leaders and collects and presents data in an executive friendly format. The manager oversees high level analyses at the corporate level and contributes in the areas of business planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, M&A/valuation, and ad-hoc FP&A projects as required.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a professional Finance role.
    • Must have prior experience with Revenue or Cost of Revenue.
    • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to do data mining.
    • Experience with month end Financial Reporting and variance analysis.
    • Experience with financial modeling.
    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to work with cross functional groups.
    • Strong computer skills required, MS Office, specifically Excel. Dynamics and Sisense experience is a plus.
