Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team. Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. Being a Financial Planning and Analysis Director reviews analysis results, develops insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and leads strategic business decisions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Financial Planning and Analysis Director typically reports to top management or CFO. The Financial Planning and Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Start your journey with us

    The financial analyst provides strategy, planning, reporting and analytical support to the company's business units. Supports multiple departments and works with business units to develop goals, expenses and staffing plans during the annual planning process. Reports actual results versus the plan for goals, expenses to develop forecasts for future periods.

     

    Starting Salary\:

    $60,000 - $90,000; depending on knowledge and skills

     

    Be Ready To\:

    • lead multiple departmental planning processes and maintain plans accordingly
    • help develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses and other analyses for supported departments
    • facilitate meetings with department managers to review monthly and quarterly operating results
    • help collect data to prepare, review and distribute periodic reports to department managers
    • develop and maintain staffing and other financial models
    • assist with quarterly peer analysis and benchmarking
    • develop ad hoc reports and forecasts as requested
    Qualification:

    You've Earned\:

    • a bachelors degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field
    • two or more years of business experience
    • earned a MBA or financial designation preferred
