Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team. Conducts financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations. Being a Financial Planning and Analysis Director reviews analysis results, develops insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction and leads strategic business decisions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Financial Planning and Analysis Director typically reports to top management or CFO. The Financial Planning and Analysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Summary
This position is 80% remote and must live within a 90-minute radius of Goshen, IN.
Reporting to the Director of Decision Support, the Senior Business Analyst maintains accurate and relevant chargemaster data. This position also assists in the strategic development and implementation of financial planning initiatives including forecasting, reimbursement strategies, long range financial planning, benchmarking, financial analysis, market analysis, cancer center analysis and contract modeling. The Senior Business Analyst supports organizational leaders in analyzing opportunities for financial improvement, and develops accurate financial information for proposals and pro formas.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration/Management
- Preferred Education: CPA certification or a Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration
- Minimum Experience: 5 or more years of analytical work, team leading and project management experience required. Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing required
- Preferred Experience: 5 or more years of budgeting, cost accounting and health care reimbursement experience
- Preferred Certifications: CHFP (HFMA); CSMC (HFMA)
