Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team.     Job Summary

    This position works closely with the Walmart Team Lead, the internal cross-functional teams and the Customer (Merchandising & Private Brands; Walmart - Salty Snacks & Cookies/Crackers, including International).  This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities & execution that support the business around the areas of Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing & Shelving. This role will also serve as back-up to the WMT VP as needed.

    Your Seat at the Table: 

    • Support all Merchandising activities
      • Provide support to WMT Salty Snacks & Lunch to Go Category Merchant Directors
      • Complete all FSS EC and SCOG (DRP) submission forms
      • Run PPE (Post Promotion Evaluation) after each Promotion event
    • Support all Assortment activities
      • Manage all Item360 Item Creation & Maintenance
      • Run analysis of Mod Assortment recommendations (white space vs Co capacity)
        • Run analysis of regional assortment opportunities (SOTC)
      • Support open capacity ‘distribution drives’
    • Support all Pricing activities
      • Update pricing as needed in Item360 & DPM
      • Submit PO Discrepancy forms as needed
    • Support all Shelving activities
      • Conduct post Mod Reviews (new items, space winners/losers)
      • Conduct Mod analysis:
        • Which assortment sets & Mod sizes perform best?
        • Determine ‘pack & half’ violators
      • Support eCommerce
        • Support distribution & sales as needed
      • Support International
        • Support Country distribution communication, initiatives, product flow & supply
      • Support Sustainability activities
        • Support annual Gigaton survey completion
        • Support transition to recyclable packaging
      • Sales Presentations
        • Help build Sales Presentations (‘Tell the Story’) for WMT appointments, QBR/JBP’s and Innovation sessions
      • Admin Duties
        • Support Stage Gate PIF entry as needed
        • Provide Deduction support
        • Deliver samples to CIC and/or Walmart as needed
      • Other administrative duties as required

    What You Bring to the Table:

    • Bachelor’s Degree (preferable analytical/business related) and 3-5 years related experience in replenishment and/or sales analytics required
    • Retail Link experience and/or Certification required

    • Driver’s License is required
    • Proficient in Walmart systems
      • Primary: Retail Link DSS, Luminate, Item360
      • Secondary: GRS, OTIF/SQEP, NOVA
    • Proficient in Windows Office
      • Excel: pivots, v-look-ups, formulas, etc.
      • PowerPoint: building Replenishment TB decks
    • Proficient in Syndicated data systems
      • AC Nielsen or IRI
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be detail-oriented and able to manage complexity
    • Must be able to prioritize initiatives and balance with daily tasks
    • Must possess a strong sense of urgency
