Your Role:

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will provide a wide range of financial support functions overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities for the Company, including the international operations team. This role serves as financial business partner to the organization and will work will closely with senior management across all functional areas in order to provide timely, reliable and accurate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve the Companies’ business and financial goals. 

What You’ll Do:

• Financial Analysis:  Evaluate data to ensure financial performance is consistent with targets and strategic objectives; report variances to plan; analyze trends to proactively identify issues and opportunities to improve performance; identify process improvements and utilize influence and communication skills to recommend opportunities or corrective action
• Reporting & Analytics: Prepare monthly reporting packages and other ad hoc reports (Board meetings, etc.) for internal and external stakeholders including key metrics, financial results, variance analysis and commentary
• Financial Planning: Actively lead and coordinate activities across the organization including annual budget, forecasts, and long term strategic plan
• Financial Modeling: Create and maintain financial models to support FP&A activities and decision making
• Finance Systems:  Oversight over financial reporting systems; ongoing maintenance & enhancements
• Oversee a team of 2-3 analysts
• Ad hoc analysis as required to support strategic decision making

 Starting Salary: $175,000

What Makes a Great Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting 
• 5 years of financial analysis experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience with Planful and/or Power BI a definite asset
