THE ROLE:

In this role, you will provide analytical support for forward-looking financial and business projects, including assisting in financial forecasting, documentation, and reconciliation. You'll contribute to the preparation of forecasts, analyze revenue trends, and collaborate on projects of intermediate complexity, ensuring accurate financial insights for informed decision-making. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Support the development and execution of the company's budgeting and forecasting procedures
• Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results to plans and forecasts
• Record transactions, conduct necessary analyses, and promptly escalate any potential issues to the accounting team
• Cultivate and sustain professional customer relationships, fostering positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders
• Exhibit proficiency in understanding company brands, operational processes, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends
• Demonstrate intermediate expertise in operational expenses, payroll, budgeting, segment reporting, budget vs. actual analysis, bonuses and commissions, account reconciliations, and financial close processes
• Assist in the month-end close process, including reviewing schedules and posting transactions

You will collaborate with your dynamic team in person 3x per week at our corporate office. 

The expected California Pay Range for this position is $75,000 annually. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
• Basic grasp of financial and accounting principles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing accuracy and timeliness
