Financial Planning and Analysis Director jobs in Philadelphia, PA

• Prepare internal financial reporting, variance analysis, and key drivers of actual results vs forecast, plan and prior year
• Responsible for the periodic financial closing process working with accounting and ensuring all financial/corporate activity are properly accounted
• Serve as the key financial reporting & analytical partner for cross functional teams and business units
• Mentor and facilitate careers of direct reports and finance development associate
• Continuously create, develop, and implement management reporting and metrics that drive better decision making across the organization
• Partner with Director of FP&A to prepare presentations for Senior Leadership team, including CFO and President
• Support continuous improvement of financial operations through process changes and implementation of new technology
• Develop/maintain financial models and perform ad hoc financial analysis for relevant issues impacting the business and key performance indicators
• Work with finance and functional teams to gain insight into performance drivers and identify the impact of results and balance of year forecasts
• Responsible for preparation and review of a portion of BBU’s P&L using large financial data sets and analyzing key drivers

Position Requirements:

Skills and capabilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required (Finance or Accounting preferred)
• Minimum 5-7 years of practical exposure in some of the following areas: Financial Planning and Analysis, evaluating business performance, Financial Accounting and Control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management as well as to clearly communicate business results
• Flexible, results-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Resourceful and self-motivated with a desire for self-improvement
• Respond to needs in a timely manner and proactively anticipate what is needed by the individuals for whom he/she supports
• Comfortable working from home/remote
