Financial Planning and Analysis Director leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis of the financial team.     THE ROLE

    This position is responsible for the delivery of guidelines, best practices, processes and resources related to the planning & design of capital projects and space management of existing facilities. Responsible for the selection and management of architects and designers. Supervises caregivers responsible for system level subject matter experts in institutional planning, master planning and campus planning. Provides RESO oversight and collaboration with PSJH Branding teams. Supports development of and compliance with RESO technical standards related to design.

    This role will also be responsible for the evaluation and implementation of the RESO CAFM platform to deliver consistent space management and reporting tools across the system.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Develop, maintain, and provide continuous improvement of the RESO Planning & Design Platform to include best practices, policies & procedures, resource libraries and innovation initiatives.

    • Recruit, hire and manage caregivers to support system level resources on the RESO Planning & Design Platform.

    • Partner directly with Divisional RESO executive leadership and service line leaders to define and implement strategic programs and support.

    • Build and maintain relationships with service area and ministry leadership teams to ensure RESO services are exceeding all expectations.

    • Leverage the RESO PMO to deliver on-time and on-budget capital projects.

    • Support space, capital and resource analysis and request management.

    • Responsible to represent RESO to the region’s specific leadership, strategy or other councils, as appropriate.

    • Responsible for innovation programs related to resources and the delivery of RESO services.

    • Must be able to travel across the system as needed.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in real estate, finance, business Administration or related field; or equivalent educ/experience.

    • Master's Degree in real estate, finance, business Administration or related field (preferred).

    • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

    • 10-12 years of related experience.

    • 10 or more years of functional experience in the area of real estate/construction.

    • 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in the field of planning & design.

    • Proven experience leading teams with diverse experience and expertise.

    • Proven track record of implementing successful planning & design models.

    • Proven track record of translating the needs of healthcare operations into project designs that support the optimal delivery of care.

    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal forms with both internal and external customers.

    • Strong knowledge of healthcare planning & design and architectural requirements, codes and compliance.

    • Strong knowledge of building and facilities management.

    • Highly organized and demonstrated ability to prioritize.

    • Comfortable presenting to Board-level audience to include business case presentation and negotiation.

    • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

    • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

    • Ability to lead/manage others.

    • Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills.

    • Maintains a high degree of professionalism.
