Accountant
The Accountant is responsible for performing the day-to-day accounting functions including the monthly financial close and reporting processes, systems maintenance, collecting, analyzing, and verifying financial information, ensuring the accuracy of the books and records and participating in projects as necessary. 

Reporting Structure:  Reports to the Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the month-end accounting close procedures and ensure accurate and proper recording of financial information for multiple Pritchard Company entities
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
• Assume the day-to-day leasing responsibilities for Pritchard Financial, LLC including:
• Coordinate funding of and onboarding of new units
• Coordinate payoffs and lease disposals
• Manage accounts receivable
• Assist with accounts payable process
• Maintain lease schedules and records
• Assist sales and administrative teams as needed
• Assist with implementation of leasing software
• Establish relationships with other departments
• Assist in the coordination and completion of the annual audit
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget/forecasts
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in systems, processes, and procedures
• Assist in maintaining a strong internal control environment 
• Support company and department projects including support for M&A activities

Experience & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in accounting required
• Good understanding of GAAP and financial/accounting practices and procedures
• Experience working with MS Office, accounting software and databases and general ledgers
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
