- Real Estate industry client seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant with corporate and/or public accounting expertise. This role will be responsible for the reporting and financial analysis process including preparing financial statements and reports, assist with SOX controls, coordinate the annual audit, perform financial analysis, monitor internal controls, and assist with process improvement of new accounting policies. This Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting will also oversee compliance requirements. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong GAAP knowledge, high attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.How you will make an impact· Generate monthly, quarterly financial reports & statements· Account Reconciliation · Prepare monthly financial projections· Coordinate internal and external audits· Build and establish strong client relationships· Perform financial forecasting· Monitor reporting models· Prepare monthly consolidations· Manage the preparation of the filing of sales & use tax · Assist with ad hoc projects
