Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Additionally, Financial Reporting Director may serve as a liaison with or oversee the work of external auditors. May direct the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Financial Reporting Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Primary Purpose:

    This Financial Advisor position will lead a Wealth Management Retail Investment team in client acquisitions, retention, service, and sales. They will help coach bank branch personnel in identifying good referral prospects, train licensed bank employees to sell annuities; and provide whatever support is needed for the team's existing client base.

    • Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Acquire and retain investment clients through existing relationships, bank referrals, and community involvement.
    • Sell investment/insurance products and services, provide investment proposals/planning, and conduct annual client reviews.
    • Recruit bank staff to obtain insurance licenses to join our referral and/or sales program.
    • Conduct bank branch referral training.
    • Comply with all industry and broker/dealer rules and regulations.
    • Prepare new account and account maintenance documentation.
    • Job Specifications:
    • FINRA Series 7 & 63/65, registered with experience
    • Sales skills and a good understanding of overall bank products and operations
    • Exceptional social and communication skills necessary to assist clients
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Bachelor's Degree, required
    • Four years of investment product sales experience, required
