Financial Reporting Director directs and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Director confirms that entries, transactions, and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external financial statements. Advises management of trends and changes in reporting requirements and recommends best approach for any changes in reporting. Work Days and Expected Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Function: The SEC Reporting Manager will be directly responsible for managing the preparation of our Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, including the 10-Qs and 10-K, and coordination with other Bank departments with respect to the Proxy Statement and other miscellaneous filings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K and Proxy Statement and manage the internal and external review for these documents.
Prepares Forms 8-K and other miscellaneous filings as required.
Prepares the quarterly earnings releases.
Prepares investor and external presentations materials.
Creates and maintain SEC calendars and planning documents to communicate and manage deadline adherence.
Prepares the consolidated financial statements.
Prepares the monthly Board of Directors' reports and manage the internal review for these documents.
Monitors and ensures timely identification of and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide GAAP interpretation and document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations as well as research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues.
Researches and documents accounting and financial reporting requirements using all available tools, recommending accounting treatment for complex transactions.
Develops new SEC disclosures and technical accounting memos.
Manages communications with external auditors on SEC Reporting and accounting issues to ensure audit alignment.
Assists in the coordination and support of the annual audit and quarterly review activity with external auditors.
Develops, manages and implements accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP.
Initiates special projects required to meet SEC reporting requirements.
Supports month end and year end closings, participate in other projects and assumes additional exempt duties as required.
Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department, and in turn the organization.

Physical Demands
Operates a keypad device: 40% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 20% of the day; operates office equipment: 20% of the day. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work. Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting. CPA is preferred.
Experience
Requires ten plus years' technical accounting knowledge including public company and SEC reporting experience. Banking and/or public accounting experience is preferred.

Salary Range:
$65,000.00 - $140,000.00
