Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Manager manages the financial reporting staff May work with external auditors to provide requested information. May assist with the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Additionally, Financial Reporting Manager requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Reporting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Reporting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     HOW YOU WILL SOAR:

    The Accounting Manager reports to and supports the Director, Corporate Controller with all aspects of Accounting Department operations at Inspira Financial. This is a hands-on position that requires initiative, knowledge and ability to effectively support all areas of the department, including comprehensive involvement with monthly accounting close and reporting processes, coordination of audit, tax and regulatory requests for external and internal parties, and maintenance of accounting systems, processes and procedures. This position will also work with other areas of the Company to fulfill business and analytical needs as required.

    • Comprehensive involvement with the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
    • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the accounting reporting and general ledger structure
    • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
    • Prepare monthly internal financial statements and analyze results compared to prior periods
    • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and features to enhance the workflow, accuracy and timeliness of the department
    • Research accounting matters for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
    • Support all activities associated with the annual audit of the Company’s financial statements, as well as corporate income tax compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements
    • Monitor, research, plan and implement accounting changes resulting from new or modified accounting standards pronouncements
    • Manage the corporate cash and assist the Director, Corporate Controller with daily banking activities
    • Assist the Senior Payroll and Payables Administrator and Human Resources with payroll and employee benefits plan processing, audits and information requests
    • Compile data and information to assist management with business and policy decisions
    • Support the ELT, Chief Financial Officer and Director, Corporate Controller with special projects
    • Other duties as assigned

    IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Preferred Major(s): Accounting, Finance or related field
    • Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
    • 5 Years of Experience
    • 1-3 Years of Management Experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including, but not limited to, pivot tables and advanced formulas
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Ability to work well with other individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong planning, organizational, task and time management skills
    • Experience with Sage/Intacct accounting software systems preferred
