Job Description:
Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Credit Bureau Reporting Remediation Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting account corrections and remediation actions required to drive compliance with regulatory requirements related to accuracy in Credit Bureau Reporting. This role requires the ability to perform Root Cause Analysis to understand how upstream processes drive defects in Bureau Reporting, partner with the upstream L3’s to drive change to allow accurate Bureau Reporting. This role also supports as a Supplier Manager for Credit Suppliers.

Essential Responsibilities:
Plan and execute self-driven analytics on large data sets. Prepare analysis and reports to support discussions on key data to drive decision making
Act As Owner and Champion Customers through remediation of identified data anomalies to drive consistency and accuracy across all credit bureau reporting platforms (e.g., Fiserv, DM10, Vision ) from a variety of information sources, including but not limited to credit reporting agencies, issue reviews, surveillance findings, and upstream processes that feed reporting accuracy
Use evidence and the 5-whys process to perform Root Cause Analysis on the data to find the source of inaccuracies
Provide cross functional guidance on remediations by providing Credit Bureau requirements to functions with inaccurate credit bureau reporting issues
Responsible for driving closed loop reporting on identified data inaccuracies that have been resolved (either corrected or deemed a false positive), including evidence of the correction and/or documentation of the false positive assessment
Drive the development and maintenance of Credit Bureau Reporting job aids to align with remediation process steps
Perform all necessary steps as Supplier Manager for Key Credit Supplier(s)
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned from time to time
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a quantitative or business discipline and one year of experience in a banking or financial services environment; or in lieu of a degree, 5 years’ experience in the Financial Industry
2 years of experience in data analytics
1 year of experience with tools such as Fiserv/Green Screen, DM10, and/or Vision
1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel
Desired Characteristics:
Working knowledge of the GECOM and Allegro DAS platform.
Well-Practiced Technical skills in data mining with 2 years of writing SAS, SQL, Python, R, Spark, or Hadoop
Working knowledge of the Fiserv Open Data Stream
Proven ability to prioritize workload, work independently, with strong follow-up and follow through skills
Previous Credit Bureau experience.
Previous Project Management experience
Previous Supplier Management experience
Experience with Microsoft Access
Grade/Level: 10
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.
