Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a fast-growing publicly traded Tech company based in Burlington to identify a Senior Accountant – SEC Reporting/Technical Accounting to join their team.  This position is primarily remote but does require an occasional in-office presence.  All applicants must reside in Southern New England to be considered.

The Senior Accountant – SEC Reporting/Technical Accounting’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for assigned general ledger accounts.
• Conduct technical accounting research, including equity and debt financing, acquisitions, stock compensation, goodwill, and intangible assets, and going concern.
• Assist in the company’s external reporting process, prepare/compile and assess the disclosures included in Form 10-K, Form 10-Q and support the quarterly earnings release.
• Prepare quarterly stock compensation accounting and reporting.
• Assist in quarterly reviews and annual audit and prepare audit schedules, as necessary.
• Proactively identify issues causing inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Accounting
• 3 years of related experience, preferably a mix of public and private accounting
• CPA License is preferred but not required.
