  • POSITION TITLE: PACE Programs Supervisor

    LOCATION: Scranton, PA. Position will follow a Hybrid Work Model which an employee will be eligible to work from home several days a week (determined by Program Director) once fully trained.

    COMPANY PROFILE: ACES$ Financial Management Services is a division of MyCIL (the Northeast Pennsylvania Center for Independent Living). ACES$ provides payroll management solutions for persons with disabilities and their attendants. ACES$ is actively seeking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic PACE program supervisor to work in a team-oriented environment.

    PROGRAM AND ROLE: PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a Medicare and Medicaid program that helps people meet their health care needs in the community instead of going to a nursing home or other care facility. Our PACE team specifically works with participants who employ caregivers in their home. We facilitate the payroll process for participants to compensate their caregivers.

    THE ROLE DEFINED: Reporting to the Director of the PACE Program, the Supervisor is responsible for the enrollment of individuals into the PACE Self-Directed Care Program, as well as the ongoing customer service for those program participants served by ACES$.

    Estimated Percent of Time: 75%

    • Receive referral/approved budgets from the PACE Program provider.
    • Forward both Employer and Employer Enrollment Packets to the identified Employer.
    • Follow up as needed with Employer/Employer to assist incompletion of Enrollment Packets.
    • Upon return of completed Enrollment Packets, process the packets into the ACES$ Online software system. Forward Budgets to Payroll Department.
    • Answer phone calls and assist participants with any issues related to payroll for their self-directed attendant care.

    Estimated Percent of Time: 20%

    • Secure PA Background Check and Office of Inspector General Check on identified Employee.
    • Secure Child Abuse Clearance for identified Employee.
    • Forward copies of Clearances to referring PACE/LIFE Program.
    • Confirm start date. Forward Employee Packet to Payroll for Enrollment purposes.

    Estimated Percent of Time: 10%

    • Forward timesheets with instructions to identified Employer and provide direction in completion of same.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
    • Prior experience preferably in a non-profit, social service, or healthcare environment.
    • Experience in service coordination and/or case management is ideal.

    DESIRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

    • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with computer use, especially proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    • Organizational Mastery: Strong organizational talents, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Sedentary work: duties require exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally (10-33 of time) and/or a minute amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, and pull items such as files.
    • May involve bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting on occasion.
    • Works in a well-lit office area.
