    Job Summary
    The Data Reporting Analyst (DRA) designs and develops reports for the organization's management team in support of regulatory reporting, data driven decision making and performance monitoring of the radiology practice. The Data Reporting Analyst will apply the use of advance reporting and visualization tools in the application of data analytics, healthcare acumen and tool expertise, to develop visualizations of management and clinical data. The DRA will perform extraction, transformation and loading tasks to support timely and accurate analytical analysis of business and clinical operations.
    Essential Duties
    This position requires regular, reliable attendance. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, knowledge, and confidentiality. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Will serve as a primary evaluator, implementer, developer, and presenter of analytical reports to show business modeling, trends, and assist management with predictive forecasting of data needs.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both with analytical tools, speech, written word, and with people of diverse and varying technical and non-technical backgrounds.
    • Ability to organize, standardize, and manage detailed information from many independent database sources.
    • Create, maintain, and develop dashboard heuristics to track and measure organizational metrics for management as well as development of ad hoc reporting, as needed.
    • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of data storage and retrieval to include knowledge and experience with data lakes, OLAP, TSQL, ETL, and data lifecycle management methodologies for construction of reporting elements.
    • Must have the ability to work cohesively with others and ability to create and maintain IT support, and revision documentation with respect to reporting elements.
    • Must be willing and able to share their knowledge and experience to assist and teach other members of the IT teams as needed.
    • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Will serve as a technical escalation point for various members of IT staff related to data representation.
    • Shows ability to prioritize, managing multiple competing work efforts as many projects will need to be addressed.
    • May be called upon to work as part of after-hours support.
    • Does technical research for new projects.
    Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Healthcare Information Technology, or relevant field preferred. Equivalent knowledge, training, education, and/or experience may substitute for degree.
    • 5 years information technology experience required.
    • Strong background in data analysis and reporting, MS SQL, PowerBI, and advanced visual reporting tools required.
    • Database developer and database analyst experience preferred.
    • Database experience with non-Microsoft database technology a plus.
    • Industry standard certifications are highly desirable.
    • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
