Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered provides sales and business development support for one or more licensed/registered investment product sales representatives. Performs customer service and administrative tasks to answer basic product questions, make changes to accounts, and open new accounts. Being a Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered coordinates but does not execute orders. Maintains a sales and referral database and uses telemarketing and customer profiling to generate leads and additional business opportunities with existing and prospective clients. Additionally, Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered tracks referrals, schedules sales appointments, and fulfills requests for information. Has a basic knowledge and understanding of the firm's product offerings. Typically requires an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Financial Retail Sales Assistant - Non-Registered works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Job Description

    This position works under the direction of the BHCS Health Informatics Coordinator. Work includes assisting with the development of testing standards for nursing templates, testing templates and documents to ensure they are in compliance with nursing standards, completing and summarizing nursing documentation audits, assessing and investigating prisoner, family, custody, and other complaints and concerns, identifying trends in prisoner health care issues, conducting analysis of findings and identifying areas of improvement for health services.

    Required Education and Experience

    Education

    Possession of a diploma, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.


    Experience

    Two years of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11, or one year equivalent to a Registered Nurse 12.


    Alternate Education and Experience

    Possession of a master's degree in nursing and one year of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse 12; or, possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing and eighteen months of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11; or, possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing and one year of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse 12 may be substituted for the experience requirement.

    Possession of a Michigan license in good standing as a registered nurse.

    Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.

    Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.

    Paid Holidays: Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.

    Bonus Programs: Eligible employees with five years of service also receive annual longevity bonuses that grow as seniority increases. Some positions also may qualify for recruitment, retention, and performance bonuses or other special pay premiums.

    Military Pay Differential: Employees in the guard or reserves may also qualify for supplemental pay benefits if miliary pay during qualifying duty is less than normal state pay.
