NorthPoint Pets & Co. provides pet parents and pets with premium food, and unbiased, honest information regarding the care, feeding, and behavioral drivers of dogs and cats. We have an immediate opening for retail sales associate in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate clearly with staff and customers. Employees should also be strong self-starters, be able to take the initiative to ask questions, and provide positive input to improve business operations, customer service and anything else they may identify.

Employees' daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Greeting and assisting customers with product recommendations
• Engaging customers and their pets to create lasting relationships
• Ongoing nutrition training and education initiatives
• Stocking shelves
• Creating retail displays
• Point-of-sale tasks
• Daily housekeeping tasks
• Assistance with in-store events

Requirements:

• Availability all year round (this is not a seasonal position)
• Availability on weekdays and weekends
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods of time
• Experience with cats, dogs or small animals preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Gmail and Apple iOS platforms

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17 per hour, depending on experience
