Financial Systems Analyst jobs in Fairbanks, AK

ASRC Federal is seeking a Financial Analyst to support ongoing operations at Fort Greely, Alaska.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up project charge codes and assign workforces.
• Prepare Weekly Cost reports.
• Analyze monthly overtime costs and prepare presentation slides for management and government review.
• Perform analysis of direct program costs.
• Prepare various other financial reports and perform analysis on a monthly basis and as assigned.
• Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and external customers using Microsoft Access and Excel.
• Interface with Business Office personnel, supervisors, on financial related tasks.

Educational/Training Requirements:

• BS/BA in a related business field in addition to 5 plus years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Skill Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint and financial software applications.
• Experience with reconciliations required.
• Excel Power Pivot and Cost Point experience desired.
• Should be a self-starter and proactive.
• Must possess strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be capable of completing complex assignments with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret government clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
