Summary

Central Moloney, Inc. is searching for a highly motivated and talented Financial Analyst to join the organization’s Finance department. This position works closely with department leaders and supports the Company’s financial forecasts, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects. The individual provides strategic support to management including preparing financial presentations, financial and sales forecasting models, and other ad-hoc analyses in support of corporate objectives. This position reports to the Senior Manager of FP&A.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Key contributor in annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support management team on strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders acting as a resource in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process.
• Work closely across different departments to drive visibility and accountability.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting including variance analysis of performance compared to corporate plans and prior periods, with the ability to effectively summarize and communicate results vertically and across departments.
• Provide analytical support to department managers on a routine basis.
• Seek out new opportunities to leverage ERP data to enable better decision making and forecast assumptions.
• Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field, broad analytical skills, and 3-5 years of relevant experience.  Preference for previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to become a subject matter expert and key Finance resource for business owners to rely on.
• Advanced Finance and Accounting foundation with a deep P&L understanding.
• Extensive data mining and analyses skills, with the ability to format findings into coherent and comprehensive models.  Experience working with PowerBI either as a developer or interactor is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Must be detail-oriented, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have the flexibility to deal with multiple changing priorities and be able to also meet deadlines within determined timeframes.
