GridironIT is seeking a Financial Analyst/Project Control Specialist local to the Rome, NY area.
Secret clearance is required.

Key Role:
Directs all financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning, and financial reporting. Performs complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues which would require a report and recommend solutions. Develops work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems. Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Preferred Requirements: 8 years of experience and/or Master’s degree in technical, managerial, or related discipline.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with financial tracking and reporting
• Experience working in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Experience with synthesizing data and information from multiple sources into a single document or report
• Strong ability to think critically and solve multifaceted problems
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Desired Skills in:

• Experience with federal government contracts and acquisition
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), federal budget process, funds accounting and management
• Experience with quantitative analysis, including financial and schedule analysis
• Ability to apply keen attention to details
• Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
• Master’s degree
