Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     •    Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
    •    Collaborate on IT projects, offering technical expertise and support.
     

    Required Skills of the Systems Administrator:
    •    3 years of IT experience.
    •    Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and maintaining SCCM infrastructure.
    •    Understanding of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
    •    Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. 
    •    Hands-on experience with Azure services and solutions, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and Azure Active Directory. 

     

    Bonus Skills of the Systems Administrator:
    •    Technical certifications (Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, etc.) 
    •    Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols).
    •    Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or similar.
