Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Electronic Security Systems Project Manager

  • We're seeking a Project Manager to support Electronic Security System (ESS) installation and sustainment contracts nationwide. This role requires experience in physical security systems (i.e., Access Control, CCTV, Video Management, Intrusion Detection, etc.), and in managing the performance of projects, including people, schedule, installation quality control, and budgets. Further, the candidate will have experience working with other trades, i.e., construction, IT, and client stakeholders. Experience managing construction projects may be considered if a security trade (Division 28) was part of the overall project.

    This position requires an on-site presence Monday - Friday in Greenville, Mississippi for the first 6 months, followed by remote work with dispatch nationwide as needed for up to two weeks at a time, so full travel flexibility is key. Travel accommodations, company laptop, cell phone, and per diem are covered by the company.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Meet or exceed client project execution requirements through effective allocation of resources, and by ensuring high quality work, following budget and schedule parameters.
    • Must have experience in managing subcontractors. This includes, but is not limited to verifying quality of installation, evaluating percent complete for subcontracted tasks, evaluating equipment and materials used to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and standards, validating invoices for payment, negotiating costs, and manage scope change. Experience managing union subcontractors preferred.
    • Ensure contractual compliance for all installation activities.
    • Manage and document inventory of all equipment and material purchased for the project and/or shipped to the project site for installation.
    • Ensure internal project management procedures are followed, including project revenue forecasting and estimate at completion.
    • Ensure all projects are carried out safely in accordance with Versar’s safety requirements.
    • Meeting and/or reporting weekly to internal and external stakeholder entities.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of verifiable project management experience.

    7 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

    • Prior experience as a project/program manager for ESS projects with a full understanding of managing clients, financials, vendor relationships, subcontracting, and project level staff.
    • Technical background in electronic security systems and professional OEM or IT certifications a plus.
    • Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically Project, Excel, and Outlook
    • Excellent communication skills, as well as strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving and research abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients and show demonstrated expertise in managing several complex tasks simultaneously.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and can obtain (or has) a federal government security clearance.
    • This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with Versar’s vehicle policy.
    • Must be willing to travel within the United States from 25-70% of the time, depending upon client requirements.

    Desired but Not Required Attributes:

    • Familiarity with ESS systems, including but not limited to Lenel, Identiv, C-Cure, Bosch, AMAG, Vindicator
    • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
    • Experience managing Electronic Security System (ESS) Technicians

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
