Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Financial Systems Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Sign of on testing.§  Overall   change management and training.§  Provide   recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific   business group. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.  Minimum   6-10 years demonstrated progression in Record to Report Domain (GL   Accounting, Closing & Reporting, FP&A, etc.) preferably in a Consumer   Products/Manufacturing industry[Hands on experience on managing complex General Ledger   Accounting & Reporting processes and with experience of migrating such   processes.  Supervisory experience   handling GL Accounting processes  Strong working knowledge of   GAAP/IFRS/SOX; ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate   with varying levels of employees and management to drive sound business   decisions.Experience working with   Finance and   Record to Report ERP modules. Expertise with configuration and design of ERP   modulesExperience translating business needs into process and   implementation requirementsMust be an individual contributor and results oriented.
