Financial Systems Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the implementation and administration of the organization's financial systems. Oversees the daily operations of the department. Being a Financial Systems Manager researches financial record-keeping and reporting requirements, and ensures that systems are modified to meet these requirements. Creates processes and procedures to ensure best practices for financial systems are used throughout the organization. Additionally, Financial Systems Manager trains departmental staff as needed. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Financial Systems Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Job Summary:

    Manages the enterprise wide Document Management operations, monitoring system compliance with procedures and standards, which create, use and manage digital images in the electronic health record (EHR). Ensures validity and integrity of each record during image capture, storage, and reproduction. Provides leadership and coordination for the process and applies structured operations management method to ensure customer expectations are met and deliverables are fulfilled. Foster a culture of patient and family centered care, service, quality and safety excellence, while improving patient experience, employee experience and community relations.


    Job Qualifications

    Knowledge, skill and ability:

    • Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Computer literacy and previous experience with electronic health records.
    • Ability to prioritize work and manage time
    • Ability to communicate professionally in person and on the phone
    • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Knowledge and experience with key management principles within HIM for the document management area of quality control, productivity management, turnaround times, and backlog management preferred.


    Education or Formal Training:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred or experience equivalent to.


    Experience:

    2 years of experience in health information management in a medical setting or relevant work experience, including a 1 years of supervisory/management experience. 2 years of experience working in a clinical office setting

    • Demonstrates positive interactions with others, positive attitude and professional image
    • Displays enthusiasm toward work and the mission of the organization
    • Ability to work independently
    • Pays close attention to detail


    Working Conditions and Physical Environment:

    Job duties are performed in a generally comfortable environment, but require more than the usual physical effort in the office (e.g., lifting of up to 20 pound boxes or equipment), or prolonged movement (e.g., standing, shifting of paper charts, reaching overhead).


    Blood/Fluid Exposure Risk:

    X Category II: Usual Tasks do not involve exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissues but may require performing Unplanned Category l tasks.


    Requirements and Conditions:

    • Drug screen is required

    • Travel is required


    Pay Range:
    Salary – Min: $55,000 – Max: $65,000 (based on qualifications and experience)
