Fine Dining Cook - Casino jobs in Akron, OH

We are looking for friendly, experienced food service professionals to complete our cooking team, serving great food to hungry students using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our staff have every-other weekend off, paid holidays, opportunities for training and advancement and time off between semesters to spend with family and friends during the winter holidays. 

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Time food production such that all food is ready at time of service 

2. Utilize batch cooking techniques to avoid over or under production 

3. Maintain a clean and sanitized area 

4. Follow all food safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. 

5. Provide superior customer service. 

6. Communicate regularly with management about workplace needs and improvements. 

7. Other duties as assigned. 

Second shift works from 1pm to 9pm. Hours may change during summer and breaks in the school year. 

Experience: 3 – 5 years of practical experience 

Physical Demands/Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Environment may include hot, humid or cold conditions.
