Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fine-Dining Server to join our upscale restaurant's service team. As a Fine-Dining Server, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail, impeccable service skills, and in-depth knowledge of the menu will contribute to maintaining the high standards and reputation of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:Provide warm and courteous greetings to guests upon arrival.
Assist guests in selecting dishes and beverages, offering recommendations based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
Address any questions or concerns guests may have regarding the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.

Order Taking and Processing:Record accurate and detailed orders, ensuring special requests and modifications are noted precisely.
Communicate orders to the kitchen staff in an organized and timely manner.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

Food and Beverage Knowledge:Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu offerings, including ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation.
Recommend wine pairings and other beverage options to complement guests' selections.
Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions to provide up-to-date information to guests.

Service Excellence:Demonstrate polished service skills, including proper tableside manner, order delivery, and guest interaction.
Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests, maintaining a proactive approach throughout the dining experience.
Ensure all service steps are followed, maintaining consistency and adherence to the restaurant's service standards.

Table Setup and Maintenance:Prepare tables with precision, ensuring proper tableware, glassware, and utensils are set in accordance with the restaurant's guidelines.
Monitor tables throughout the meal, promptly clearing empty dishes and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.

Upselling and Revenue Generation:Identify opportunities to enhance guests' experiences through upselling and promoting premium menu items.
Maximize revenue potential by effectively suggesting add-ons, desserts, and after-dinner drinks.

Team Collaboration:Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, including kitchen staff, bartenders, and management.
Collaborate seamlessly with other servers to ensure efficient and coordinated service.

Adherence to Policies and Regulations:Follow health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures, including uniform standards and punctuality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in fine-dining or upscale restaurants is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, including wine and cocktail offerings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills.
