Fine Fettle was given a Notice of Intent to Award a license in Georgia, which allows Fine Fettle to produce low-THC oil for patients to obtain from licensed dispensaries. Our state of the art 118,000 square foot cultivation, processing, and manufacturing facility in Macon-Bibb County is currently under construction and will be an industry standard facility in the country. We also plan to open five dispensaries around Georgia later this year, with the opportunity to build more as patients of Georgia expand.
Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the cannabis infusions kitchen, including scheduling, staffing, and daily operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as cultivation and extraction, to ensure timely supply of raw materials and ingredients.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities, ensuring proper maintenance and sanitation procedures are followed.
Recipe Development and Production:
- Develop and standardize recipes for a variety of cannabis-infused products, including edibles, beverages, tinctures, and topicals.
- Conduct trials and testing to optimize product formulations for flavor, potency, and consistency.
- Oversee production processes, including ingredient preparation, infusion techniques, cooking/baking, and packaging.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production demands.
- Implement inventory tracking systems and procedures to monitor usage, minimize waste, and prevent shortages or overages.
- Coordinate with procurement and purchasing departments to source high-quality ingredients and packaging materials.
Quality Control and Assurance:
- Establish quality control measures to ensure the safety, consistency, and efficacy of infused products.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of ingredients, finished products, and packaging materials, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
- Implement corrective actions and process improvements to address any quality issues or deviations.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Stay current with cannabis regulations and industry standards related to infused product manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations governing cannabis-infused products, including labeling, packaging, and testing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of production activities for regulatory reporting and audits.
Team Leadership and Training:
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and accountability.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to communicate goals, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or related field preferred. But not required
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety principles, and cannabis extraction methods.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience supervising and motivating kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cannabis-infused products, including compliance with state and local laws.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
