THIS IS A EARLY MORNING POSITION. TYPICALLY, 4AM TO 12PM. TRAINING PROVIDED
Mighty Fine Donuts is seeking a Day Clerk & Decorator to join our team. We are willing to train the right person. As a Day Clerk & Decorator, you will be responsible for decorating and preparing a wide variety of delicious, fresh donuts that will leave our customers craving more. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our donut shop and help maintain our reputation for Award-Winning donuts.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and decorate a variety of donuts according to recipes and quality standards
Become familiar with different donuts and the ability to decorate each
Prepare and present donuts in an appealing and attractive manner as directed
Monitor, proof and ensure consistent quality of each donut
Learn the amount of icing, fillings and designs for each donut
Adhere to standards established by management to reduce waste
Provide customer service at the highest level
Ensure proper rotation to maintain freshness
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to ensure a sanitary and safe environment
Ability to work with others and be a team player during donut making process
Provide high end customer service
Learn the front showcase in order to fulfill incoming customers donut purchases
Learn point of sales system to run register for customer checkout
Requirements:
HARD WORKER WILLING TO LEARN THE SKILLS NEEDED as a Day Clerk/Decorator
Creativity and passion for ensuring taste and donut designs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift heavy ingredients or equipment when necessary
Flexibility to work early MORNINGS, afternoons, weekends, and holidays as required
Ability to work in humid or hot environment
Follow food handling and safety regulations when preparing and handling products
Clean fryers and other equipment as needed
Superior attendance and punctuality
Perform other related work as required
Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required
Familiarity with food preparation and handling procedures is preferred

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour with potential pay increases
Training: In house paid training will be provided

Potential Schedule:
4:00 AM – NOON (typically 6 - 8 hours a day)
2-3 days per week (Wednesday - Sunday)
*Schedule may vary on a weekly basis. Saturday & Sunday mornings are priority for hiring
