Our elegant dinner train takes guests back to the grand train era with its stunning interior décor and fine dining experience. Our Staff delights our guests in creating and serving excellent cuisine and hand crafted cocktails while they relax within views of beautiful Narragansett Bay.

Grand Bellevue Rail Dining Experience is growing and looking for a competent Server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our train and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and pre-set when guests arrive, serving foods and beverages. You need to be balanced on your feet as you serve guests aboard a slow moving train , have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fine dining experience, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Compensation includes base $15 hourly pay, plus high tip pool, on-board check gratuities.

- Weekends only schedule (Friday & Saturdays w/occasional Thursdays) and every other Wednesday Day shift is a must (beginning in June)

-No holidays, closed in January.

Work Hours:

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 4pm to 10pm, Every other Wednesday day shift, 10 am to 2;30 pm. Ocassional corporate/wedding events as needed Sun- Wed. primarily evenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to detail, set-up & breakdown.
• Greet and seat your guests upon entrance.
• Confirm guest's pre-selected, prix- fixe items and serve orders.
• Answer questions and make recommendations for wines and cocktails.
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Work with Front of House Management
• Issue bills and accept payment

Skills

• Verifiable restaurant serving or banquet experience.
• Attention to self-presentation, cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Own transportation is a must (we are far removed from any bus line)
• Fine dining experience is prefered but not required.
