Our ideal candidate is an experienced fine dining extraordinaire who is knowledgeable about gourmet cuisine and wine. Job Responsibilities
Head Server offers a formal dining experience and supervision as a lead role with an emphasis on ensuring fine dining, assessing customer satisfaction, training formal etiquette to employees, and recommending special menu items.
● Be knowledgeable of all menu items, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods. Be prepared to answer any questions about the menu in a direct, concise way
● Answer menu questions
● Make drink recommendations
● Course food items appropriately
● Make suggestions and up-sell items to guests
● Maintain table appearance
● Provide table service
● Emphasize company culture
● Engage with guests in a positive manner and ensure guest satisfaction
● Engage with servers in a positive manner and ensure fine dining etiquette training
● Assist the host/hostess with prompt and courteous greeting and seating of guests
● Accurately practices service standards on a daily basis.
● Take accurate food & beverage orders and enter into the POS
● Prepare guests checks, splitting checks & items as needed
● Collect payment from guests
● Perform and check side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks
