Description

Responsible for supervising all staff and services of main dining room and catering services. Establishes and maintains standards of excellence for all guest services in dining room.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains standards and specifications of guest service
• Hires, trains and supervises assigned staff
• Schedules assigned staff
• Collaborates with internal and external departments to accomplish various tasks and projects
• Oversees buffet lines and dining room
• Oversees setup, serving, and cleaning of meeting rooms and conference spaces for food service events
• Coordinates special projects
• Orders food and supplies
• Other job duties as assigned

• Food service skills - Advanced

Education, Work Experience, and Other Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with some college or technical school courses
• Food service supervision (3 years minimum preferred)
• Must have valid driver’s license

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must possess the necessary physical stamina for walking/standing/working for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Good body mobility with free range of motion from floor level to overhead including twisting, bending, stooping, and climbing on step ladders
• Able to work outdoors in varying and inclement weather conditions
• Will be required to be at varying heights to perform tasks
• Work will include significant amounts of bending, stretching, kneeling, twisting, climbing, and lifting on a daily basis
