We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bid Proposal Manager to join our team in Zeeland, Michigan. As a Bid Proposal Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing new business opportunities by leading the bid process from start to finish. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals that showcase our company's strengths and capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills to make a significant impact in the hospitality industry. 
 
Responsibilities: 

• Lead the end-to-end bid process, including initial opportunity assessment, strategy development, proposal writing, and presentation delivery. 
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to gather necessary information and insights for bid responses. 
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of client requirements, market trends, and competitor activities to tailor proposals and differentiate our offerings. 
• Collaborate with sales team to develop compelling value propositions, executive summaries, and other bid collateral to effectively communicate our company's value proposition and win themes. 
• Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality bid submissions. 
• Track and analyze bid outcomes and feedback to continuously improve our bidding strategies, processes, and materials. 
• Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and negotiations as required. 
• Pursue company awards and coverage in national publications. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field. 
• 5 years of related experience 
• Proven experience in bid management, proposal development, or sales support within the hospitality industry or related sectors. 
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. 
• Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. 
• Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems and seize opportunities. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Project Central, and PowerPoint. 

• Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and presentations.
