Job Summary:
Bellevue Country Club is a full service, private Country Club located in the city of Syracuse, NY. We are currently searching for the right candidate to join our management team as a Dining Room Manager. This position will work alongside other club house managers to lead and execute the la carte dining room operations.
We are seeking highly communicative and professionally driven candidates. We are a member driven facility that requires all candidates to have a hospitality background, great attitude, and a very strong work ethic.
Manager is responsible for leading hospitality team to serve members in various dining settings to a high standard of service. This position with answer to General Manager/Asst. General Manager and servers/bartenders will report to the Dining Room Manager.
Hours are Seasonal: Open Tuesday - Sunday. Lunch & Dinner Shifts
Pay: Hourly
Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead the process of hiring, termination and maintaining of dining room staff.
- Train new staff and constantly assess how staff is performing.
- Build relationships with Membership. Gather feedback in constructive manner.
- Assist staff during service to ensure high level of guest satisfaction.
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals/drinks and take action to correct any problems.
- Offer assistance to team members/co-workers when necessary.
Manager Requirements:
- Extensive experience in restaurant/hospitality management highly recommended. Experience in Customer Service Management also recommended.
- Experience with providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with other team members.
- Able to learn and operate point-of-sale system.
- High school diploma.
Duties will also include:
- Attending meetings with other members of management.
- Able to assist with banquet/event team if/when needed.
- Scheduling of staff.
- Editing various menus when needed.
- Ensuring dining area is always clean/set up properly.
- Promote club hosted events and specials to membership to drive interest.
Ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and multitasking skills. It is crucial that they convey the importance of customer service / guest satisfaction. Must have a high level of understanding the steps of
service and will play a key role in our member satisfaction levels and ongoing restaurant growth.
