FIRE CAPTAIN manages a team of firefighters. Ensures all equipment is properly maintained and serviced. Being a FIRE CAPTAIN directs training and conditioning activities. Administers the staff work schedule to ensure adequate coverage. Additionally, FIRE CAPTAIN leads and coordinates responses to fire events, hazardous material incidents, auto accidents, and search and rescue operations. Prepares post-incident reports as required. Leads or coordinates fire safety education and inspection activities. Typically is required to pass periodic physical ability tests. May require registry in NREMT. Typically requires an associate degree in fire science. Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a manager. The FIRE CAPTAIN manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. The Position: We’re looking for a Full time Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Inspection and Service Technicians.
· Compensation dependent on experience.
· Position is remote based and Company Vehicle Provided - Must have a valid CA driver’s license with an acceptable record.

Requirements:
- Fire Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Trade Experience: 2 Years - Applicants Without Applicable Experience Will Not be Considered.
- Fire Pump Experience is a Plus.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Fire Sprinkler/Alarm Knowledge: NFPA Codes and Standards for Fire Protection, Practical Field Experience.
· Communication Skills: Fire Inspection & Service Technician will need to speak with customers and team members on a regular basis.
· Organizational Skills: Will require a detail-oriented person. Documentation will be required with all inspections and services rendered.
· Critical-Thinking Skills: Fire Inspection & Service Technician will need to devise plans of action and asses most time-efficient process per job/service.
