Fire Fighter is responsible for rapid response to fires, accidents, and other emergencies to protect people, property, and the environment. Works with firefighting teams to control and extinguish fires and safely manage hazardous materials. Being a Fire Fighter performs search and rescue, responds to auto accidents, and provides emergency medical services. Uses and operates fire tools, equipment and apparatus as effectively and safely as possible. Additionally, Fire Fighter performs routine maintenance and inspection of firefighting equipment and gear to ensure proper condition and preparedness for emergencies. Prepares post-incident reports as required. May participate in fire safety education and inspection activities. Typically is required to pass periodic physical ability tests. May require registry in NREMT. May require an associate degree in fire science. Requires Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Basic. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fire Fighter works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Fire Sprinkler Technician Monterey, CADescription

Our mission is to provide quality customer service by focusing on a personalized approach for the fire & life safety needs of our customer’s facility. We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team in the Monterey, CA area.
Job Responsibilities
As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for providing service, testing, and installation of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment.
Additional responsibilities of the Fire Sprinkler Technician include:
- Complete all activities related to service and installation of fire protection systems
- Complete fire sprinkler and pump testing documentation
- Customer service, coordination, and communication
- Technical project and administrative support
- Ability to work independently or supervise others as required
- Preparing work schedules, reviewing plans/prints, and carrying out assigned duties
Job Requirements
To qualify for the Fire Sprinkler Technician position, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with fire sprinkler systems.
Additional requirements of the Fire Sprinkler Technician Position include:
- NICET Certification (Fire Sprinkler II preferred)
- Proficiency with computer skills, MS Excel, Email
- Strong customer service skills and communications
- Familiarity with NFPA 25 & 13 (National Fire Protection Association) and local codes
